WE, MIAVIT Food GmbH, were officially founded in 2010 as a subsidiary of the MIAVIT Group. We have been producing customised vitamin premixes for the food industry since 2004.
The name MIAVIT is an abbreviation for all important minerals, amino acids and vitamins.

The guiding principle of our family business then as now is: prevention instead of medication.
Thanks to the structure of a family-run company, we offer you particular flexibility and reliability.
Thanks to these short decision-making channels, we can always guarantee a certain speed from your enquiry to delivery. We are therefore in a position to realise your short-term customer request as a project.

Where do we come from?

History

MIAVIT, headquartered in Essen (Oldb.), was founded in 1964 and is a family-run company in its third generation. MIAVIT Food was officially established as a subsidiary of the MIAVIT Group in 2010. MIAVIT has been producing customised vitamin premixes for the food industry since 2004. From the very beginning, MIAVIT Food has relied on MIAVIT’s expertise in terms of the mixing accuracy of vitamins, minerals and much more.

Many years of experience and expertise

Dr Hans W. Niemeyer founded the veterinary practice over 55 years ago and at that time already shaped the guiding principle of our family business “prevention instead of medication”, which is still firmly anchored today. The name MIAVIT stands for all the important minerals, amino acids and vitamins contained in our premixes. As a competent partner in the areas of animal feed, additives, minerals and vitamins, MIAVIT produces and distributes premixes and speciality products, primarily for animal nutrition, in more than 90 countries. This means that our customers not only benefit from our global network of raw material suppliers because: “We have the knowledge to produce high-quality premixes for food and food supplements”.

Hi, I am Jan and the Director of the MIAVIT Food. My focus is to build something up as a team. To empower individual and collective growth, always focused on our goals and developments as a unit. We are working in a powerful atmosphere with a good sense for various markets & potentials. For me, every day is another step on our journey and that keeps me motivated.

Dagny Klapper

My name is Dagny and as the Assistant to the Director, I take care for the planning and organization of business processes, as well as the area of marketing/social media and internal interface communication. Working in a team and growing together, but at the same time having enough space to develop personal skills and strengths - that describes our team best way. We all rely on powerful workflows in a modern way that benefit from many years of experience.

Lucas Gessert

My name is Lucas and I am responsible for business development at MIAVIT Food. This includes a wide variety of internal and external tasks, such as project management, process organization, business area development and sales management. Our focus is always on the customer, which is why these tasks are often close together. Providing the best service for our customers and partners is what drives me every day. With my open and down-to-earth nature, I look forward to partnerships and collaboration on an equal footing. I work in a structured, transparent and efficient manner to find solutions for our partners as quickly as possible. In my opinion, this is the basis for long-term and sustainable partnerships.

Lorena Knobel

I am Lorena and my position in the MIAVIT Food team is Teamlead Technical Support. Me and my team are responsible to develop recipes based on the customer requirements and supporting our customers with a lot of know-how and experiences. Having a very customer-oriented way of thinking with always keeping the requirements of the customer in mind, I’m trying to find the best solution for both sides. In my opinion an open and transparent communication is the key for a long-term partnership.

Stefan Haschenhermes

My name is Stefan and I work as Head of Operations for MIAVIT Food GmbH. The area of activity of my teams and me include order processing, production and warehouse management. We are also responsible for purchasing raw materials and ensuring quality standards. In all areas, our goal is always to benefit our customers from our service and know-how. Every day we work to make our processes little more effective and safer, without compromising on flexibility, speed and reliability.

Tobias Brengelmann

My name is Tobias and I work as a Sales Support Manager for MIAVIT Food GmbH. My area of activity includes order processing, production planning and supporting our sales department. In all areas, our goal is always to achieve the complete satisfaction of our customers. Teamwork plays a central role in this. Open communication, clear goals and flexibility are the path to success here. Every day we work together to react to changes and feedback in order to continuously learn and improve.

Marc-André Zager

I am Marc-André , I am a new part at the Miavit Food-Team, working as Technical Support with the main focus on the hydrocolloids. Our Team is responsible to develop individual customer-oriented recipes and to support our customers with all the experience and know-how we have. Having a very customer-oriented way of thinking with always keeping the requirements of the customer in mind, we’re trying to find the best solution. With our quality, the permanently exchanges and quick editing the individual customer recipes, we will ride the road to success.

Sanchali Srikanth

I am Sanchali Srikanth and I work as a Technical Sales Support at MIAVIT Food. I am involved in recipe development and customer support along with my colleagues. The uniqueness of every project and the tailor-made approach towards our customers keeps me excited. I believe in drawing inspiration and learning from everything and everyone around oneself. Staying inquisitive is the way to progress.

Yasaman Davari

My name is Yasaman, Technical Sales Manager at MIAVIT FOOD. With a specialized background in applied chemistry and food industry engineering, and holding an M.Sc, I strategically lead sales operations with a primary focus on the dynamic markets of the MEA region and selected European countries. Engaging in frequent business trips, I actively cultivate collaborations, share cutting-edge technical sciences, and expand our network. My passion lies in propelling the growth of existing customers and integrating new potential customers.

Lisa Pernutz

My name is Lisa and I work as a quality manager at MIAVIT Food. The close cooperation with all departments enables me to quickly optimize processes and adapt them to customer-specific requirements. In this way, we ensure that our products always meet the highest quality standards and customer requirements. In my opinion, our efficient quality management system leads to a high level of customer satisfaction and thus forms the basis for long-term and good cooperation.

Frederic Ferrando

Hi, I’m Frederic, originally from Barcelona, Spain, and I work at Miavit Food GmbH as a Technical Sales Manager. I manage the main markets in Europe, such as Spain and Portugal, France and Italy, looking to create close relationships and engage in new projects with our clients and partners.
